
Your success in network marketing depends on you BECOMING the right person, not FINDING them.
Developing your belief, attitude, determination, VISION, and work habits will ultimately lead to your Success. It will take a person a minimum of two years of ACTIVE Networking to begin to understand the underlying concepts and principals necessary for success in our industry.
Every book you read, tape you listen to, and seminar you attend will take you further and further down the road.
3 Types of People join network marketing companies:
3%ers - High profile leaders with a strong business background. They just want you to get out of their way, they have the confidence that goes with ignorance and they will build it with or without you. They rise quick and usually fail their 1st time in network marketing. Why? They don't plug into a duplicatible system. They think everyone has the drive, vision and determination they do and it is a rude awaking when they find out they don't. In short they depend on their own skills, they aren't duplicatable, and they are totally UNTEACHABLE. I hate to work with 3%ers
The next group - 27%ers. I love 27%ers. They are teachable. they have drive, and determination, they want more out of life. They are at every meeting and every training and they consistently work the business. When you run across a person like this you better provide strong directional leadership and have a duplicatible system to plug them in to. If not they will go to the school of hard knocks, trial and error for a couple of years, but will eventually become successful. This is why YOUR leadership is so important. For this group and this group only. 3%ers won't listen to you anyway. 27%ers are also students of self improvement programs. 3%ers don't think they need that stuff.
The last group 70%ers. This is the majority of the population and the majority of people who join MLM. They are looking for a get rich quick scheme. They don't want to come to meetings and trainings. You constantly call them, (27%ers call you) and they gripe over every dime they spend, and every mile they drive.
Most MLM beginners spend all their time effort and energy with this group. They will never make you any $$$, they don't appreciate you or anything you do. They "say" they want to do the business but their "actions" tell you they would rather stay home, watch TV and complain about their financial situation. When they quit the business, and they will, they will blame you, the company, their sponsor, President Clinton and anybody else they can think of except the person responsible for their failure: THEMSELF
