The Egg

The egg of an Eagle and that of a Hen
are much alike!
Both shells are white!
When hatched, both produce
cute, feathery fledglings.
But the chick, alas,
never leaves the ground!
Scratching for food, laying countless eggs,
finally being devoured...
that's the chicken's destiny.
The Eagle learns to soar.
The highest peaks become his home.
Proud! He dwells in those lofty areas
where few of God's creatures ever roam.
Today!
You are out of your shell!
