Network marketing:
A business whose time has come

By Ralph Marston

Want to get involved in a business that is right on track with current trends? You couldn't possibly pick a better business than network marketing. Here are some real quick reasons why:

Today, wealth is being created in distribution. Look at Michael Dell of Dell Computers. He is now worth more than $300 million. How did he make all that money? By inventing some new technology? No. By designing a more efficient manufacturing operation? No. He made his money by pioneering a new distribution method for personal computers. Same thing with Sam Walton of Wal-Mart. He made his fortune by putting together an efficient, effective distribution method for consumer products. Network marketing is a very efficient, effective distribution method that offers every person the opportunity to build wealth.

Today, marketers are striving to get more in tune with the market. This is becoming increasingly difficult because the marketplace is becoming more diverse and fragmented. Network marketing is inherently in tune with the market. That's because, in network marketing, the marketing force is the market itself. Who knows better what the customer needs than the customer himself? And in network marketing, that is who is selling the products and building the distribution network and designing the marketing efforts -- the customers.

Mass marketing is a dying pursuit. With hundreds of cable channels, VCRs, remote controls, T-ball practice, ballet lessons -- people are not watching television commercials anymore. And people are so inundated with commercial messages on a daily basis -- from billboards, radio, newspapers, magazines, sides of buses, backs of taxis, blimps, banners and the like -- that they have become jaded. People don't believe the ads they do see. Ads have just become a part of the scenery. It's just no longer as effective to influence people's buying habits through mass marketing. There were more than 200 articles last year in the Wall Street Journal about demise of advertising. Network marketing uses a one-on-one approach, giving network marketing the advantages of credibility and excellent customer service.

People are looking for home-based businesses. People are tired of working for other people. There is no longer any security in working for someone else. Last year, the profits of America's 500 largest companies grew 14%, but their personnel shrank by 1%. People are looking for a way to get into business, and be paid on the work they do, without having to invest a lot of money up front. People are looking for a way to build financial security by working hard and working smart. Network marketing offers all this and more.

Network marketing is the wave of the future. Jump on now for a fast ride into the 21st century!
