It has always amazed me that people get into network marketing and talk about finding those two or three "hard hitters" and make it in the business. There are a couple of things we need to consider here.
First, a hard hitter is someone who keeps on sharing the business opportunity regardless of the short-term results. He is consistent in that regard. A hard hitter does not listen to what people say, he listens to what people do. So a hard hitter doesn't go down, he keeps getting up. He is persistent. A hard hitter is compassionate---get in or not the prospect still feels good about the hard hitter. Above all the hard hitter doesn't know how to count: he uses these two words, next and yes. His opportunity sharing goes like this: "next, next, next, YES. next, YES, YES, next, next, next, next, next, YES, next, YES." He doesn't keep track of who doesn't get in---he has not time for that. He cares for those who trust him and get in---he prepares his calendar for them. He has a great self-esteem, that is he is not selfish.
Second, in order to find a hard hitter, you need to be one. In order to become a hard hitter, listen to a hard hitter.
