
The primary key to success in network marketing is to build a large, active network of people who are excited about your business. You do this by helping them build a business that results in an income of at least $300 a month. If your distributors are making at least $300 each month, they will not quit or switch companies. Speed is important too. The quicker you get a new distributor making money, the more loyalty they will show. So, work with each new distributor until they are making money. First, send them a welcome letter and assure them that a good decision was made. Next, call them every day for the first 30 days. Then cut back to a couple times a week (more if needed). Give them assignments such as ordering products, getting voice mail, ordering business cards, and making up a prospect list.
Set up a training meeting within 2-3 days of the time you sign them up. During this meeting, go over the distributor starter kit, discuss how they should get started, and get a list of their top ten candidates. Send an information package to each prospect and set a time to do 3-way calls with your new distributor. Help your distributor set some goals and make a plan to reach the goals.
Now work hard to sponsor people under your new distributor. Build quickly and your new distributor will get excited and you will have a recruiting explosion on your hands.
In the past, a person could go to work for a company, work 40 years and retire with a comfortable pension. This is no longer the case. Corporate downsizing has basically eliminated the 40 year plan. You can no longer rely on a corporate pension for retirement.
What about Social Security? According to analysts, the movement of 76 million baby boomers into retirement age will bust the Social Security system by the early 2000's. Plus, right now the highest monthly social security income is $1100! Could you live comfortably on that?
How about investments? The instability of the stock market and interest rates has made it difficult to build a good retirement portfolio. What it really comes down to, is that your financial security is in your own hands.
What is one of the best methods for securing your financial future? A residual income developed through network marketing. Instead of making that 40 year commitment to a job, make it to your business. Imagine what your residual income would be like if you did work your business for 40 years. There are people in Amway with residual incomes in excess of $1,000,000 a month after only 20 years! Now that's a retirement income.
Build your own retirement income and promote that as a feature of your network marketing opportunity.
