The Revolution

There is an entrepreneurial revolution sweeping the country that is forever changing the way people earn a good living. It is happening right now. Are you part of it? Here are some reasons for the changing complexion of the American work place.

The wide-spread fear of job loss is a major factor in stress-related illnesses as corporate American continues to downsize. This is driving people by the millions to the security a home-based business offers. Home business owners are more secure because they command their destiny. They are not controlled by supervisors or committees who do not have their best interests at heart. Home Office Computing magazine recently reported that 98 percent of home-based entrepreneurs are happier being their own boss rather than working to make someone else wealthy.

Home business owners enjoy flexible work hours, quality lifestyle, performing work of their own choosing, pleasing only themselves, tax considerations, one minute commutes, and a blue jean environment. It allows an enormous degree of flexibility and a much more fulfilling lifestyle. People are tired of crime, congestion, and corporate stagnation. They desire a quality of life that is no longer available in the city. The home-based business option provides a very attractive alternative to a dissatisfying or no job situation for millions of Americans.

The home-based entrepreneur has no ceiling on how much he or she can earn or how quickly they can earn it. There is no limit on how far they can go in terms of accomplishment or personal satisfaction. No one hinders, undermines, or impedes their progress. They do not play "King of the Hill" corporate games or step on others to advance.

Analysts estimate there are over 30 million home business operating today. Market experts expect this figure to at least double, if not triple by the turn of the century. Entrepreneur Magazine publishes astounding statistics from their many surveys. They state the home-based business industry generates over 380 billion dollars and, by the year 2000 one quarter of North America's work force will be home-based! These entrepreneurs, numbering well over 100 million, will enjoy more relaxation, a healthier diet, more personal freedom, and a better overall sense of well-being and accomplishment. A sampling of those operating home-based businesses shows 98 percent are happier working from home, 95 percent would highly recommend working from home to others, and over 85 percent would never return to the corporate environment.

Technology provides the means. The power of personal computers, electronic mail, fax machines, cellular phones, and the information superhighway makes this possible. No longer is an extravagant Main Street address needed to be successful. Technology allows people to easily move a downtown corporate environment to a spare bedroom, kitchen, or den with all the advantages and none of the disadvantages of a large corporate setting. People by the thousands are turning to home-based business opportunities. The number of part-time home-based businesses increased by 2.1 million, totaling 24.3 million at the end of 1993.

Fortune 500 corporations permanently displaced 5 million workers in the past decade. Estimates are that a home-based business starts every eleven seconds, almost 8,000 per day! Research shows that 44 percent of all U.S. households will support some form of home office activity by 1995. Most home-based business activities provide considerably more income than the traditional 9-5 job. The average annual salary of the U.S. worker is $26,000 while the average home-based business earns $50,250. About 20 percent of all home businesses earn more than $75,000 per year. Of all home-based businesses, 33 percent are owned by men while a whopping 67 percent are owned and successfully operated by women.

Network Marketing has the perfect solution if the above statements made sense to you. If you knew you could earn $50,000 per year starting today, with the application of eight to ten hours per week of unproductive time, would you wait more than a few minutes before wanting to learn the simple details?

THE OPTIONS

What reasonable options are open to the person of average means who sincerely desires to get ahead financially?

Is it franchising or opening a traditional business? No, the answer is not here. Why? Several reasons. How many entrepreneurs say they own a business when in reality the business owns them? They must show up to make money. There is overhead, fees, and employee problems. A major hurdle is startup capital, which can range from several thousand to over a million dollars. There is the risk associated with such a venture. I doubt you are willing to place a million dollars at risk. What happens to your franchise business if low-priced competition moves in down the street? What happens if market research is faulty and your franchise is really a passing fad? Can you take off anytime you wish?

What about investing? This could be very profitable. However, this concept poses another unique problem - one needs a large amount of properly invested money to receive a decent, livable return. If you have a million or so lying idle, you could comfortably live off the interest of prudent investments. To accomplish this you either have to be a market guru or trust that someone else is correctly investing for you. Remember, you are at the mercy of market fluctuations - events you cannot control. Unless your name ends in Kennedy, duPont, Hunt, or Gates, you must be realistic and bypass this option.

While these options have merit, they are out of reach for all but a tiny fraction of the general population. The average American family is too consumed with daily problems that they do not have time to consider franchises or large investments. The ideal financial vehicle must pass several rigorous criteria. It must have an absurdly small startup investment. Unlimited growth potential. No geographical boundaries. No employee problems. No specific education requirements. Significant tax benefits. No fixed hours. It must be so simple to understand and use that anyone could successfully participate. And, it must be risk free.

It sounds like a tall order, an impossible task, but this ideal business has been in successful operation and honed to razor sharpness by millions of people for five decades!

People are searching for a better way to make a solid, secure living and are flocking to this industry by the thousands. There are 5.5 million people involved in the industry and every week over 45,000 new distributors join. What other industry can you think of that attracts 45,000 or more people week after week after week? Only 11 percent were full-time in 1992. That figure exploded to 22 percent in 1993.

In essence, network marketing is the most fluid means to move products or services from the manufacturer to the ultimate consumer. It bypasses the traditional job-wholesaler and uses a network of independent business people. It is an exploding industry offering the average person the opportunity for true financial independence (and the ensuing personal freedom it affords) with virtually no risk.

Network Marketing is something you do everyday but are not paid for. If you see an excellent movie, your natural reaction is to tell your friends. If you dine at an excellent restaurant with impeccable service, you will recommend that establishment to acquaintances. This is "word of mouth" advertising, the most powerful form of advertising. It is the backbone of network marketing. In its purest form, it is simply sharing an excellent product, service, or opportunity that you are excited about with others.

Who are the winners? Everyone who is touched by network marketing is a winner. The company benefits because they can move a product directly to the consumer without the headaches and costs of middlemen. The consumer is a winner because they are presented with products and services which are far superior to those found on store shelves. The products have to be superior because the distributors are not professional sales people. Their ranks include teachers, retirees, politicians, lawyers, athletes, doctors, housewives, students, etc. If you can think of a category of people, they are in network marketing. Finally, the distributor is a winner because they hold the key to financial independence and personal freedom.

Who are involved? Those with a passion to have a better way to work and live. They are the ones with the guts to get off their butts and build a better life for themselves and their family. They want a level playing field where everyone is handsomely compensated for their efforts verses being paid for longevity or who they know. They realize it is impossible to create any lasting wealth working for someone else one hour at a time. They are involved with this industry because they can work when they choose from the comfort, convenience, and safety of their tax- deductible home offices.

Whether you believe it or not, network marketing is in your future. There are only two options available at this moment. There are those who recognize the true power this industry holds and are active distributors; and, there are those who will purchase products and services from those distributors. Nothing very complicated. It is quite simple. You're either in or your out. It is your decision.

Several years ago, U.S. New and World Report published a list of the highest income earners in the country. Each category was listed with their low and high earnings range. One was omitted. Network Marketing. It was not because data was unavailable. It was because they said the earnings were too unbelievable!

There are those who believe anything is possible. And, there are those who believe nothing is possible. I love it when the non-believers are passed by the believers. Why is it that the non-believers have nothing and the believers have everything?

Network marketing is so simple to understand. A company makes a product which they want to place in the consumer's hand. In the traditional method, the product will pass through jobbers, transporters, middlemen, wholesalers, and finally retailers. This adds a tremendous amount to the cost of the product. Charles Givens, author of Wealth Without Risk, states that about 80 percent of the cost of getting a product to the consumer is from marketing expenses. The other method is to enlist the aid of a network of independent distributors to take the product directly from the manufacturer and place it in the consumer's hands, thereby eliminating those intermediate steps and high cost. The independent network marketer replaces the intervening steps of traditional marketing efforts, which is why the network marketer is very handsomely compensated. This form of distribution is a large number of independent distribution points doing a little bit of business.

The beauty of network marketing is that you don't have to reinvent the wheel. You simply plug into an existing structure. The concept is deceptively simple yet enormously powerful. It does not require a staggering initial investment, like well-known franchises. It does not require advanced education or a prestigious address. It does not demand 40, 60, or 80-hour weeks. It can be successfully operated from your kitchen table in just a few spare hours per week. It is a realistic business for real people that does not involve hype or the get-rich-quick mentality. It is practical, immediate, honest, and a highly beneficial alternative to corporate America. You could command a national or international business from the comfort of your kitchen table.

It is estimated that less than 2 percent of the population is involved in this dynamic industry in varying capacities. Industry experts project that figure will approach 10 percent by the year 2000. Fortunately for you, the vast bulk of money to be made in this industry will occur in the next few years. How much of this income pie do you want?

The three most important words in real estate are location, location, location. The three most important words in Network Marketing are timing, timing, timing. You couldn't pick a better time to get involved than today. You are in an excellent position to take full advantage of this explosive opportunity that has become the ticket out of the corporate rat race for thousands upon thousands of ordinary people with extraordinary dreams. They have tasted the richly rewarding lifestyle this concept is capable of providing and absolutely refuse to return to the 9-to-5 corporate jungle.

This is your business. One where you decide how much you work and how much you earn. You are the boss! You do as you please. If you want to take a trip to Europe ... a holiday in Hawaii ... or just spend a few days lying around the pool - it is your decision. You have the time to enjoy life because of your Network Marketing business. You have enough money so there is no worry about bills or emergencies. You are more than covered. You could earn $10,000 or more per month with the focused application of a couple of hours per week from your dining room table. You do not have to worry about those confining time schedules you were under while working for someone else. The best thing is you have a powerful financial vehicle that makes you richer and richer each and everyday whether you are there or not.

The only thing keeping you from network marketing is you. If millions of others just like you are living the good life because of this industry, please don't join the audience that will shed tears on someone's shoulder a few years from now and cry "I should have tried when I had the chance ...." Members of the "I should have" club are left behind by those who recognize the power of this concept.
